Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue believes that every animal’s life is worth saving, regardless of breed, age, or medical condition. They are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in The Hamptons, New York. They rely on donations and foster homes to continue saving lives.

Gimme Shelter’s mission is to rescue animals who are destined for euthanasia in high kill facilities across the country. Each one of their rescues receives full medical treatment and is also spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. Then, through their very successful adoption program, they work tirelessly to place each animal in a loving forever home.

As part of a broader solution, they are hoping to raise funds to launch low or no-cost spay/neuter programs in the communities from which they rescue. They can use our help!

Rescuing animals is a hugely rewarding yet challenging experience. Gimme Shelter cannot save any of these dogs without our help. There are many ways for you to offer your assistance to Gimme Shelter….they are always in need of support!

VOLUNTEER – Gimme Shelter is a volunteer based rescue organization. They rely on volunteers to help with adoption events, transports, and fundraising. If you have a few hours to spare and want to help us save lives, you will find this experience truly rewarding.
