Since 1965, CAST has been serving low-income individuals and families on the North Fork of Long Island.
CAST helps struggling community members meet their basic needs in the areas of nutrition, clothing, energy, employment, and education. They provide a critical safety net for Southold Town residents from Laurel to Orient Point and Fisher’s Island. CAST is committed to moving vulnerable populations to self-sufficiency through outreach and education.
They offer many programs and services, including a food pantry, sharing room with clothing and household items, ESL and computer classes, an early childhood literacy program, assistance with benefit applications, advocacy, and referrals, and much more.
CAST is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm. We close daily from 12:00-1:00pm for lunch.
VOLUNTEER – CAST is always looking for friendly volunteers to help with general office duties including answering phones, accepting donations, filing, organizing, paper and computer work, and cleaning
DONATE: CAST depends on the generosity of donors and on a variety of fundraising activities to maintain our commitment to serve vulnerable populations on the North Fork.
